Mothers Day weekend
I love buying presents but what I love the most is wrapping them up! I found this gorgeous paper whilst spending a lovely day with my mum wondering around Margaret Buildings in Bath, the shop is called alexandramay I couldn't resist the bell either! It has been described as an Aladdin's cave and I think that's a great description, Me and mum spent a lovely morning browsing around the top of town, my favourite shops in Bath for purely window shopping pleasure and wistful dreaming are; Mee,Prey,Toast,HanzelundGretal.

Bright Star
Tonight I am going to snuggle down and watch Jane Campion's Bright Star, I wanted to see it when it was out in the cinema but did not get around to it. I remember reading Keats at school and it really overwhelmed me when I discovered he was dying and had all this love to give, so sad and powerful! The official website is a beautiful scrap book, I hope the film is just as good!

Sea Fever
I found this poem last night its lovely!
Sea Fever
I MUST go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking,
And a gray mist on the sea's face, and a gray dawn breaking.
I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.
I must go down to the seas again, to the vagrant gypsy life,
To the gull's way and the whale's way, where the wind's like a whetted knife;
And all I ask is a merry yarn from a laughing fellow-rover,
And quiet sleep and a sweet dream when the long trick's over.

BRrrr
It's been the coldest winter I have ever known;
I have never seen snow on the beach before this winter
I have never had to sleep wearing 2 pairs of socks, thermals, 2 x duvets before this winter
I have never drunken so much tea before this winter
I have never seen such amazing sunsets before this winter
I have never been so grateful for a hot bath before this winter
I have never been so happy to be beside a burning fire before this winter
But I am now looking forward to spring!!
